[Important] Regulations and Required Documents for International Students' Part-time Jobs

Dear Students,
For students planning to work part-time in Korea, please note that you must obtain prior permission (Time-limited Employment Permission)q-from the Immigration Office before starting your work, depending on your visa status and working conditions.
Working without prior approval is strictly prohibited by law. Please review the procedures and required documents below carefully to ensure compliance before beginning any part-time job.
🧭 Overall Procedure

Prepare all the required documents listed below (bothq-from the student and the employer).

Bring the documents to the GAIE Office for university verification and a department signature.

Visit the Immigration Office (or apply online via HiKorea) to obtain final approval before starting work.

- Copy of ARC (Alien Registration Card / Residence Card)

- Employment Contract
- Part-time Work Confirmation Form (시간제취업 확인서) -
- Certificate of Enrollment & Academic Transcript

- Korean Language Proficiency Certificate (TOPIK Level 3 or equivalent)

Note: If a valid TOPIK score is not submitted, your permissible working hours will be restricted according to immigration guidelines.
